Opinions of Torresen sailing school?

Looking for a more convenient school for me to do ASA 103 at I came across Torresen Marine''s sailing school in Michigan.

http://www.torresen.com/school/

Their location, available water and overnight policies are impressive, and Torresen seems to have an excellent reputation overall.

Has anyone attended sailing courses there and be willing to share their opinion?

Thanks!

Jonathan

Opinions of Torresen sailing school?

I schooled at Torresen and found it very good. I took the 101 and 103 combo class. I was told I could test out of the 101 and save some money, however I was a self taught sailor and figured I could learn some new things, and I did.
Jim Thompson is a knowledgable sailor and instructor. I plan on returning one of these days for 104, as I want to charter some day where it is warmer in the winter.
My only disapointment was that we didn''t sail on Lake Michigan, but Musckegon Lake was still a good place to sail a much bigger boat for me.
There is a very active marina and full service shop at Torresen and I found it fun to look around after class. I will recommend them highly.

I have never taken lessons from Torresens but I do know Jim Thompson and know that he is an exceptional guy and a great teacher of life in general.

Torresens reputation on the Great Lakes is second to none.
