KENTUCKY LAKE

Active 43 year old professional married Mom looking to sail KY Lake, TN/KY. Have basic 101 from sailing school in Fla, I really need hands on. I am ready to buy a boat but feel there is still so much I need to know. I am willing to help with everything. I just want to learn.

KENTUCKY LAKE

Hi--
A lot will depend on what type of vessel that you used in the sailing school, what type are you thinking of buying, and who will be sailing with you. I started on a 16'' racing scow, and have now bought my first "large" boat-a 22'' Chrysler. You started in the right direction by going to a sailing school, and now you need to spend a lot of time doing what you were taught. Buy your boat and start early this spring!

You have an excellent lake to use the boat, and it is situated in the right direction for long sailing and not much sail corrections.
