hellosailor has a spectacular aura about hellosailor has a spectacular aura about
"why does ;&quot keep appearing instead of " "
That can also be the matter of what browser and OS someone is using. That's an old old internet bugaboo, lots of software just doesn't follow standards. And lots of users try to use things like "smart quotes", which can't be displayed universally, and will blow back to codes like " &quot " instead.

It also may be that the two different versions of the Sailnet software use different text encoding schemes...which might also cause similar problems.

You know what the first rule of sailing is? ...Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse, but you take
a boat to the sea you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps
her going when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurting 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.

Linc-

YOU REALLY SHOULD START A NEW THREAD FOR THIS SINCE IT IS COMPLETELY OFF TOPIC.
I'd also highly recommend you read the POST in my signature, since it has instructions on how to create a new post.

BTW, I generally don't recommend single-line reefing systems, as double line reefing systems are far more effective at getting good sail shape IMHO.
