New to sailing instructional links

I'm bookmarking diagrams, videos and text I find especially helpful for my wife and I to learn sailing. This will be a work in progress, but maybe something here will help others too especially since most of what I'm finding is of poor educational value.

Stop with the nonsense of try to learn from a video or book. Go take an ASA 101 course with your wife and actually do it.
DID you learn to drive by reading a book?? Gosh I hope not.

Learn it by doing it.

I'm doing the same thing. I'm taking an ASA course in the spring, but it's almost winter time here in Chicago, no sailing for many moons. Have to watch all the videos I can.

Thank you for the advice. Pretty much everything I can do has been learned from a book. It's how my mind works I guess, or how my mind has adapted to work. The links here are good reference regardless of how a person wishes to learn sailing.
