Smile Thank you to all....

Thank you to all the experienced sailors who take the time to share bits and pieces of their knowledge & wisdom... who openly help the new beginner sailor... that don't know a lot... or sometimes even the right questions to ask... We as new sailors hope to remember the kindness shared with us... to inturn help the those once we have learned the ropes... (or sheets!)

Once again... Thank you...

A lot of them are getting up there in the years, might need us to remind them stuff one day

I'll echo your thanks as a fellow beginner, really enjoy it here.

Glad to hear we aren't scaring the newbies away with our antics! If you ask a question we're usually pretty good about putting up one answer every four pages or so!! Glad to have you both aboard!
TB...that is way better looking than he is...it couldn't possibly be him cause it looks like he is thinking!!

In general not a bad bunch. Few aging reactionaries amongst 'em but as long as you don't mention the war or tell 'em Eisenhower is no longer President all will be well. Some of us have identity issues but if you don't mind having a chat with various talking Dogs, Geese, Pigs, Portuguese Bluebottles and Wombats then you'll be OK.

Other than that, sometimes about every third Tuesday we talk about sailing.

Dear Mr. Sailingdog.

I would like to thank you for meeting with me yesterday in your boat, (or boats, since they are 3.)

I have developed the photos we took, and here is yours.

You know what the first rule of sailing is? ...Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse, but you take
a boat to the sea you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps
her going when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurting 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.
