Well, I've got my little black prada bag that I normally carry, only problem is I plan on buying white shoes and goodness they just wouldn't match AT ALL and so I guess I will just have to leave the purse behind!!

Actually, some sort of gear bag is handy to keep your gloves, shoes, keys, wallet, hat, sunglasses, windbreaker, cell phone, etc all together. http://www.esp2007.es/Bambino_small_bag.html

I used to have a plain ol' bag of some heavy, red material, with white stitching and a white zipper. No fancy pockets or anything, just this cavernous space into which you could pack about all the gear you'd ever need for sailing--life vest, foul weather gear and all. I'd get on the boat, change into boat clothes suitable for the weather, incl. boat shoes, vest and gloves, and stash my street clothes in the bag. Reverse the process when done sailing. That plain, good ol' bag got "lost" somewhere over the years. Wish I had it back.
