Way too funny Lancer28. Seems like just yesterday Gui asked me if his blue blazer made him look gay. I told him no, so he is still wearing it. He even added a dress shirt and tie to his sailing attire.

No prob, my pops was a Gunny with Carlson's bunch in the bad old days so I have a clue about Jarheads, especially Gunnys.

Hmmm, no other former Marines (oxymoron I'm hoping) out there? I've lurked on this thread for a while. Anyway, served five years from 1961 to 1966. Probably did more for me than for the Corps.

I spent from 1978-1998, and got a lot out of the Corps, never a dull moment. That's why I like this board so much, they are a little rough around the edges. Although if, ( yeah right, like is it ever questionable), my wife has her way I might end up cruising around Giu's neck of the woods in about 3 years. I love sailing, much better than the Gator Freighters we were on.

(What a great name for my 1st boat, Gator Freighter)

Gypsy Sgt.,
I've asked a couple of service guys on this forum, but I don't think I've asked you. Have you come across a serviceman currently in Iraq whose goes by Marlinspike6 here? I've exchanged a couple of PMs with him about C30s, but haven't heard anything in a while. Sent another PM, and haven't heard back in quite a while.
