How did you manage to post pictures like that?

I thought it could not be done here.

Rockter,
I hot-linked the image URL from another website, in the above case from Lewmar #6 .

If posting my own pics however, I upload them into my account at photobucket.com and paste the image URL into the icon, located in the bar above the posting window.

BTW, In case you don't know how to hotlink, place your mouse curser over any photo or image on another website (uncopywrited) and right click. Then scroll down to Properties and left click to open up the General window. Highlight the Address (URL), right click again and select Copy. The Address (URL) will then be copied into your computer's notepad, until you use the Paste command.

Clear as mud?

Actually, almost all images are copyright protected.. however, we can often link to them under the fair use provision of the Copyright Act of 1978. Be aware that some websites do not allow deep-linking... ie, that you can't link direct to an image on the site.

BTW, TB's directions are spot on if you're on Windows-based system... but on a Mac, all you have to do is right-click over the image and pick "Copy Image Location", and paste that into the pop-up dialog box that occurs when you click on the yellow picture link icon

You know what the first rule of sailing is? ...Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse, but you take
a boat to the sea you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps
her going when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurting 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.

If they are the Barlows that disengage simply by pushing your finger or screwdriver deep down into the socket ... unlocks a spring that supposedly holds the drum to the spindle. When the internal spring becomes weak these winches can easily have the drum come off the spindle .... have the scars to prove it.

Sure you can, after posting them to flickr.com, shutterfly.com, picasa.com or some other webserver.
