That traveller setup is similar to that on a laser dinghy.. and will not function like a typical traveller.

I see an adjustment (just forward of backstay tensioner cleats) that allows you to change the tension of the "traveller" line - that may be of some use, but you could actually create more of a real traveller by fixing the mainsheet attachment to the traveller line and then using the adjustments to move that attachment point to windward or leeward as desired. You won't have much power in the adjustment, but it's a smallish boat.

The cockpit floor termination of your main sheet puts it in a better place to trim when you are steering - otherwise you need to reach behind you with the "wrong" hand to trim the main. However, that does detract a little from the function of the traveller.
