You have been to Estoril in the sixties?? The golden age...

Yes, there were many many American cars in Portugal, but since the early 70's they all disappeared.

I remember my Grandfather had a Panhard, and a Cadillac, all black with fins like a shark.

And and I recall him talikng of a Linclon Continental also, but I was too baby when he had that.

In the early 70's he bought a BMW 2002, and that was the end of the American car era. Never to be seen again...that was when American cars were better than European cars...altough I am not saying that our cars NOW are better...

Yes they are in you tube. I don't know any other place to put them, but if you tell me one I can load them there, ok?

Umm... so many things wrong with that video. First, why are the self tailers setup to dump the lines overboard, rather than into the cockpit???

Second, her winch line wrapping technique is an excellent one for you to lose fingers using... never have your fingers between the winch drum and the line... unless you want to lose a few.

Third, why leave the mainsail cover on when talking about the boom and mainsail?

Fourth, steering a boat is very different from steering a car. A boat pivots about the center of lateral resistance, and the bow and stern swing, rather than follow the wheels as on a car.

UGH..

BTW, the model's not that pretty IMHO.

You know what the first rule of sailing is? ...Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse, but you take
a boat to the sea you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps
her going when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurting 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.

ZZ-

Youtube.com and most of the other online video hosting services take video in a variety of formats, .dv, .avi, .mov, etc, and encode them into a Flash Video format file (.flv) and then stream the video to a Flash plugin on your computer. If you don't have the Macromedia/adobe Flash plugin, you can get it for various browsers at adobe.com
