Hi, my old friends on Sailnet. It's been quite a while (personal and business matters kept me away for a while).

Well, a "little bird" wispered to me that Alex just finished his video about the jib, so I logged in and ... Surprise!!! The jib video is still not on but I found a new video on the traveller. Wonderful: double round in a short period of time!

Alex. It's fantastic! I don't consider myself a sailing newby anymore but I still learn a lot from your videos. And they help me "fix" the concepts in my mind so they come up naturally while I'm sailing without having to think about them. And they are also a fantastic tool to teach others.

Congratulations and thank you once again!

Thanks, Cam.... It's nice to be back.

I was in a hurry and rushed to search for the video and got by mistake in this "comments" thread, came accross the traveller video and took for granted that was it. Giu pointed my mistake in a pm also.

About the Spanish soccer team... I know... I'm afraid they're going to be there at the top being the best for a while. Life is unfair sometimes...

Wink Thank you so much!

Thank you for your videos Giu. Very easy to understand. I am going to use your tips to trim the sail with the backstay instead of reefing.... my husband will be impressed. Yes, the Texas Longhorn has a bitter, I mean better half!

Beetlejuice—

There's sticky thread for the videos in the Learning to sail forum. BTW, I'd highly recommend you read the POST in my signature to help you get the most out of your time here. It has tips on searching sailnet, writing a good post, etc.. Welcome to the asylum.

You know what the first rule of sailing is? ...Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse, but you take
a boat to the sea you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps
her going when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurting 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.
