max-on will become famous soon enough
Alex, are you working on the "It's Ok to Heel" video? Maybe you can include a section with your wife comfortably reading in the cockpit and drinking a glass of wine at 20 deg. of heel. I need an authoritative video confirming such a radical concept.

Additionally, thanks for the "Backstay Adjustment" video, Mechele saw your boat go vertical before you loaded up the backstay, and my chances of ever building a Delmar Conde racer / cruiser are gone! I said, see, it flattened out, and even Fred can handle the boat. Her look was skeptical.

I'm not holding my breath while waiting for that "It's Ok to Heel" video max-on. Giu's wife may be a saint when it comes to tolerating his sailing obsessive disorder behavoirs, but I get the sense she will not tolerate excessive heeling.

Such is the reason why she drives to the summer slip while Giu sails down with who ever he can convince to crew. (g)

Actually you are wrong, my wifes does not mind the heeling at all, and likes it, she loves roller coasters and such..the reason she doesn't sail up or down the coast is Luis is we have no one to look after him while we do it, as he is getting heavy to hold while we sail.

If you look at some of my posts with photos you will see in many we have quite aggressive heels and Giulietta is fine...

Look here, that's her favorite spot on the boat...I am trully a lucky man

Like here...

When you asked for a video of the heeling, I immediately spoke with her and we might do one, for you...OK?? Promise...

Yes, Alex, have Giulietta in the video with Luis and Fred. That was the next comment from Mechele, 'we will not be able to go sailing once we have a child'.

For years, I've envisioned buying a package, or a DIY kit, of one of those kite camera rigs. I've seen videos from a sailor who flies his rig from the boat's stern while sailing. Incredible video - but can't recall his website.

The rig had a gyro system for maintaining a level attitude with the horizon, as well as servo motors and R/C controls. I found this package after a quick search:

Anybody ever try this?

You are very fortunate Giu . . . and I was only joking, no offense intended.

TB...I don't get ofended that easy....

here is one that's quite funny, we're all doing different things, and the boat is sailing on its own...

Fred reads a story of a book, Luis anoys everyone because Giulietta is holding him and he wants to move around...Giulietta is enjoying the heel, and I film the flying bow....

We are a fortunate family, thank you God.

As I said, if it will help you I can make one with Giulietta.

We have a few tricks we do to help newbies and heel scared people sailing on our boat, I think we can demonstrate them.

But need some time, ok? Besiedes, the boat now is stripped and Giulietta doesn't like it now because there is no dodger and no lazy bag amd no matresses and no fridge etc... so its unconfortable inside. But I see what I can do.

Unless you want me to do one explaining that boats heel but don't capsize, and make a few drawings and use footage I have, like th ones above.

Please let me know how I can help.

(off course, if you send your wifes over, I'll take them sail, scare the hell out of them so much that when they return to their boats, they think yoiur boats are pretty satble and normal...nothing 15 knots can't heel) (VBG)

If you ever find that page, let me know. I've searched around for it too with no luck
