Winch handles, all the same size?

I know they make different lengths and handle styles, but the small gear that's inserted into the top of the winch, are all those the same size? One handle does it all? I need to buy a set, but not sure if they're all the same.

Lewmar 7 and 16 winches.

If the winches are relatively new... yes, the winch handles are standardized.

Older winches had a different size socket...but all modern winches have been standardized.

1984 may very well be modern --- My winch handles from a 1980 Endeavour are the same size and shape as those on a friend's 96 Catalina and another friend's 2006 Bendytoy.

Yes, I do believe most winches from the 80s and later are "modern" winches.
