Jimmy, it's a hard paint by Jotun.

I think they don't sell it in the US and I don't know why.

Here is the can, and if properly applied it lasts over a year with 2 or 3 bottom washes a year.

Hey! Did CD send you his BBQ? Looks like you decided to mount it on starboard.

Jimmy, its sanded and spray painted, not rolled. The sanding is just to scuff the old surface to receive the new paint, like to prepare it by giving it some roughness.

Each year you sand a litlle then apply with gun.

Giu, the reason your rudder is so deep is because it is on the centerline and will lever out. Shorter twin rudders on either side do a better job but aren't protected by the keel. Win some, lose some.

Plumper-

His eight foot rudder is protected a bit by the 10' keel . He'd be screwed where I sail... since he'd be aground in more places than not.

You know what the first rule of sailing is? ...Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse, but you take
a boat to the sea you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps
her going when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurting 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.

I sailed a boat with a 10' draft. Not anymore.
