Sailormon6 will become famous soon enough
Sorry JN, but it's just too far, but there must be someone sailing around Long Island who is willing to spend a few hours helping another sailor with basic boat handling skills. It doesn't require a bona fide expert boat handler. Someone just needs to demonstrate basic maneuvers under power, so JN can get his boat in and out of the slip without damaging it, and how to tuck in a reef, and basic navigation with and without a GPS, and perhaps a few pointers on how to set an anchor. Anyone who has sailed for a few years, and can back a boat into a slip, ought to be able to do that. Any volunteers?

Sailorman

I just want to say how wonderful you are for helping others. You may start something around here. If I was a little closer I'd run down to LI. But it's a good 5 hours from here. But I'd be happy to help anybody in the Lake Champlain area.

Way to go Sailorman!
