It doesn't require a bona fide expert boat handler. Someone just needs to demonstrate basic maneuvers under power, so JN can get his boat in and out of the slip without damaging it, and how to tuck in a reef, and basic navigation with and without a
GPS, and perhaps a few pointers on how to set an
anchor. Anyone who has sailed for a few years, and can back a boat into a slip, ought to be able to do that. Any volunteers?
