Wanting sailing/crewing opportunities - San Diego

Hello, out there -

Still feeling my way around here so hopefully I'm in the right spot to post this. (Seeing lots of useful and interesting articles and comments on this site!)

As a new sailor and loving it I'm looking for ANY opportunity to be out on the water as long as it's on a sailboat (is there anything else?) Generally available weekends (preferred), some weeknights and an occasional (if I play hooky) weekday.

I am recently ASA certified, been sailing every weekend since on 22' Capris (once crewed on a 28' Benneteau), and have a good foundation to build on. I'm very reliable, responsible, eager to learn and help, and follow instructions well. My goal is to gain as wide and varied experience as possible, learn as much as I can while doing it, progress soon to coastal sailing and beyond and who knows where after. Within 100 miles of San Diego generally not a problem for me.

So if you're looking for crew please contact me for now (not enough postings yet for PM) either on this site or email me at msterns at lemaitre dot com. I look forward to hearing from you!

Meg
