Advice on ordering NOAA charts

Okay, after 45 minutes of arm wrestling the NOAA site to find out info and purchase their charts, I give up. I am expecting delivery of my first boat in a couple of weeks and need to purchase detailed charts. I've already got the waterway guide and cruising guide for the gulf coast. I assumed that NOAA charts were the best for up to date and detailed charts, but can someone please tell me how to order/obtain these charts? I've been to 3 West Marine stores in the Mobile area without any luck for detailed charts, so I thought I would just order one online....yea right. Anyway, I'm looking for detailed charts for the Gulf Coast from Mobile to Pensacola.

I'd recommend Bluewater Charts and Books or Landfall Navigation.

Bluewater Books and Charts, Landfall Navigation Marine Safety & Nautical Charts Chandlery

You know what the first rule of sailing is? ...Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse, but you take
a boat to the sea you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps
her going when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurting 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.

To make it easy on you...for florida west coast...
You need the Maptech Chart Kit for Region 8 - 12th Ed.
Florida West Coast and the Keys here:
Maptech Paper Chart Kit
and then you can pick up additional charts for Mobile to Pennsacola in the Waterproof charts versions here: Waterproof Chart

You can also buy individual NOAA charts here:
Landfall Navigation Marine Safety & Nautical Charts Chandlery

You can look at any chart quickly on line before you make a decision to buy it here:
Gulf Coast NOAA Nautical Charts

Cam-

The Maptech charts may temporarily be tough to get while their assets are reorganized....they did just go bankrupt...
