Safety at Sea

I'd like to take a SAS course but the closest one is in RI. I'm in VA. I checked the US sailing site, but there doesn't seem to be any others lined up. Has anyone got together with a local YC and convinced them to give the course near annapolis? Seems like it wouldn't be a hard sell.
