I know how you feel Diesel. I am contemplating moving up from a 26' boat to a 36' boat. I like the new one a lot, but compared to my 26', getting on the deck of the 36' is like jumping off the back of my pickup truck and climbing on top of a tractor trailer. I think I can learn to handle her, but the only reason I think so is because I know other people have. If I was the first person to ever own a 36' boat I would have a lot of trouble convincing myself it was possible to single hand her.

Well i have good news... i went out on a buddy's 32'this weekend and in high wind/high waves not to mention a high amount of big ship traffic and i can say i feel much better now.

I just need to fight the urge to hit the opposite side of the boat and hang my butt out there when the boat gets a good gust and heels over 30 degrees.
Yes i so pulled a Hobie cat maneuver!!! We all just laughed about it after..
Old habits die hard..
