here's a song you might like : Peter Gabriel-- Mercy Street. That and your favourite beverage at about dusk. take a listen!
Obligatory seafaring references included.
Some assembly required.

If you like a Brazilian flair, try "O Barquinho" (My little boat), written by Roberto Menescal & Ronaldo Bôscoli. Lots of different versions to suit your mood, from languid Bossa Nova to ripping Tropicalia. My current favorite singer, Karrin Allyson, does a tasty bi-lingual cover -- just the right mix of relaxed and urgent -- like sailing.

One of my favorite albums ... something to listen to and let it touch your soul ...

I've owned countless vinyl LP's ... as well as several CD's ... and given many more as gifts over the last 40 years ...

"The Sea" ... Anita Kerr .. San Sebastion Strings .. words by Rod McKuen

samples here ...

Entertaining replies - helps wait out the return of warmer weather - thanks.

- but Sting and Enya Yikes, what and where are you sailing - the Good Ship LolliPop on Peppermint Bay?

How about some real sailing music -

YouTube - Seoltóireacht Ghéar TG4
I know, not really a sing-along, but it stirs the sailing spirit

YouTube - Barrett's Privateers

YouTube - The Queen of the Grand Banks Schooners
