Best Sailing School in Los Angeles Area

Hi All,

My girlfriend and I wants to buy a boat within 3 years, and take a 1 year sabbatical to cruise in the Pacific.

I am looking for a good sailing school that could teach her sailing up to offshore passage making skills.

We are living close to Marina Del Rey, but I am open to hear suggestions in the greater LA area. If you know of a school that you would recommend, I'd love to hear it. I found all the schools that exist around and have my preferences, but I want to hear first hand the experience of people (especially women) who have taken courses and would recommend a particular school.
