Anyone in the PNW? I just want to sail!

The weather here is killing me. I am brand new to sailing, and got my boat out twice before the weather turned. Now my little boat is sitting on it's trailer waiting to warm up, get some new paint, and hit the water!

In the mean time, if there is anyone in the area that has their boat in the water, and needs crew, or needs help with maintenance, give me a shout!

I can't sail my boat, and I can't ride my motorcycles right now. I am going stir crazy!

Not racing until mid Feb out of Edmonds. Check with CYC seattle, or some of the other local clubs, they may have crew lists. I may go out in a few days........

If you're in Seattle check out Sloop Tavern Yacht Club, you may find somebody that will be going out to race or such.

About 45 degrees here in Florida tonight...brrrrrrr....but wish my boat was ready...getting the fever bad...

I live in the Puget Sound area on the Key Peninsula, West of Gig Harbor. Thanks for the tips, I will check those places out. I assume they have something similar in Gig Harbor or Port Orchard?

If you can get to Edmonds, I'd be happy to take you sailing. How do you feel about cold and wet?

Down your way check out Gig harbor YC, they have a frostbite series coming up. Not sure about POYC if they have races. There is a club in Bremerton that do some races. "West Sound Corinthian YC?" In Tacoma you have Tacoma YC right by the vashion ferry, and CYC Tacoma on the west side below the bluff on the Hylebos waterway. Farther south you have Olimpia YC with some race events too. There may be others.

My little sailboat is sitting on a trailer here in Portland. Can't wait to get out. Shopping for moorages right now.

Perhaps if you want to go sailing this Summer down on the Columbia, you could come for a visit.

You have a lot of great water up north there.
