instructor recommendation?

Hello,

I''m new to sailing and would like to take a basic sailing course.

From the reading that I''ve done regarding learning to sail it seems that, while the school and certifications are somewhat important, it''s the instructor that really makes the course.

Does anyone have an individual instructor they can recommend? I live in NJ but would be willing to travel within reason for an outstanding opportunity to learn.

Any advice will be very much appreciated.
