How to store?

I am planning to put my 14' Oday Javelin in the water this weekend at the family cottage. The downside is leaving on Sunday night, I plan on pulling her up on the beach at the cottage or tie up to the dock. The question I have is should I take down the mast? I will not be back for a few weeks and wondering if there is a risk of damage with leaving it set up?

In high powered racing dinghies, with very high tension rigs, we normally relieve the mast tension before we leave our boats rigged for a few days.

As I suppose your Javelin isn't normally very tightly tensioned my suggestion is to leave it as is or, to play it safe, ease the forestay tension a bit...

PS- I suppose you're also lowering the sails right
