Sailing lessons in December?

Hi,

I want to take some sailing lessons over Christmas holidays in December. Does anyone know of a sailing school that offers lessons for an ABSOLUTE beginner? I don't want to wait until spring.

I live in Ontario and know it would require travel. I'd like to try a week or 2 week lesson plan.

Any recommendations welcome.

Regards,

e

Saling lessons

Buy a copy of "Attitudes and Lattitudes." They have several ads from sailing schools.

Try J-World, Key West, FL or San Diego, CA or Offshore Sailing with three locations in FL

I second the BVI recommendation - several schools there can be recommended and you won't need to wear several layers of clothing or be afraid of falling into the water.

Sailing school

Remember that few scools operate on Great Slave Lake in December.

Talking Thank you to all.

I'm continuing to explore and looking at the BVI's.

Just in case the BVI's don't pan out -- Blue Water Sailing School in Ft Lauderdale. Took the Admiral on a week long live-aboard for ASA 101, 103, and 104 certs. They're first rate.
