thanks for all the outstanding info there is no trailer in the plans for now however a do like the sound of being able to take my boat home as its slip is about 90 miles from the house. after reading the posts since my last question it really does seem better to wait on the bottom till topside is ready if i clean bottom now then by the time topsides ready gonna need it again. i know that i will be needing to do some fiberglass work under the cockpit locker lids. when you go to step aboard over the lifelines your first instinct is to step on the locker lid and for some reason it is all cracked and mushy right there besides all the hinges in the lockers are crap. i do believe that will be the first thing i will tackle (most of the repair will be inside the locker so it dont have to be pretty just solid) i also need to get the dc power working i made a tiller handle to replace the one that wasnt there i know it is not what wdschock used but for 10$ and some left over wood in the garage i saved 190$ or so.
