Possibly. But, begs the question, what is that block for?

The block moves up and down that jib track and when you thread your jib sheet through it, you can adjust the set of the sail. The sheet should end up around the winch that should be aft of the block. It should also solve your problem of the sheets rubbing against the shrouds because they will be on the outside of the shrouds.

There should be one on each side of your boat.

I only just started playing around with moving those blocks up and down the track on my boat.

I think you need to use the outer rail. Using the inner block results in your lines chafing as well as the sail. That inner block may have been used for another line perhaps from the mast that ran back to the cockpit

A swag on my part, but that inner block "MAY HAVE" worked with your small jib at one time. Your jib appears to be slightly bagged out, very loose at the foot, so it is not setting correctly. So as others have said, use the outer car/sheave on the track, adjust according to wind either forward a bit when light, or back a bit when heavier winds. I have the same issue with my 110. I have a 2' track on the cabin top, but my Norlam is stretched a bit, so I use the outer track with better sail shape results. Your current outside carr should probably be about 6-12" behind the fixed sheave for proper usage of "THAT" jib. If you have a bigger LP jib, then the current placement per the pic, may be for that jib, ie say a 135-155! I use upwards of 6 of 8' of my outside jib track depending upon which jib is up, pointing or running.

I've drawn lines from the midpoint of the luff, to the clew. well, not "ALL" the way, about 2' up from the clew, I can then see in mid range, 7-15 knots or so, where the sheet line needs to be, ie lined up parallel. If lighter, I mover forward a bit, heavy air, back a bit. The for and aft depends upon the sail. My 155 string race deck sweeper, this is maybe 2-4", my 140 daysail/cruise jib, which the clew is cut about the top of my lifelines, I need to mover 6-8" to get the same shape change as the 155 does!

Another possible option, also "IF" the sail is in better shape than I think. you might be able to get it recut/shaped a bit, and use the inner sheave, this would get you a few more degrees upwind pointing ability. Cutting the clew higher may work some or not at all! Talk to a sailmaker while sailing etc.

Here is a couple of pictures of my two jib tracks, you may be able to put something on the top of your cabin as I have done for you 100. This will move it in towards the mast closer, give you a bit better pointing etc.

The lower one, used to be about 2' short of the side stays, until I went from a ~1.5M to 2m track, made things a bit nicer to adjust, I also went to line control carrs as you can see, so adjusting the carrs can be done in micro amounts to get the best sail shape and power out of the given jib/genoa!
