Need help to learn to sail

Hi,
we are a couple living in Bay Area SF, and we want to learn to sail, learn about sail boat, and learn how to buy a good one! We are available to participate in any ride in Bay Area or somewhere near for day sailing or week end. We want be with the crew and learn the basic navigation.
We are very easy going!
