Sailing Simulators

I have search this forum and found no post during the past several years so I will start a similar thread.

Where would be the appropriate forum to place a thread concerning sailing simulators used to learn and re-enforce sailing skills and nomenclature, e.g., trim, reach, weather, etc. while studing for cert exams prior to actually attending a sailing school? An example of such a simulator is Sail Simulator 2010

Not really a simulator with fancy graphics per se...but racing is the best way to learn how to sail:

Top Sailor is a dinghy race simulator. It is available for iPad.

How about a simulator that focuses on the basics? Any good recommendations? I'm looking for something that I can use to show my kids what happens with the speed/direction/heeling of the boat under various conditions.

I thought a Pram was the simulator most effective in teaching cause and effect for the beginner or perhaps better yet the Sunfish which will dump you when you do bad and carry you happily when you do good. and should a playful impulse come upon the students they may capsize or jibe repeatedly until very good at them or until being wet is no longer amusing :) its simple and has the benefit of being "fun" although perhaps not in January. :)
