Sailing in Malta!

Hi! Im a 23 year old girl from Sweden living and working in ( Slema) Malta I would love to learn how to sail, maby someone is having a sailing boat on malta and i can follow on a day trip? I have never sailed before, so it would be perfect if somebody could introduce me :

Angie,

Best head to a yacht club and volunteer as a hand for a day for a well known sailor at the club. A 23 year old girl ("cute young thing" in the U.S.) jumping on board with a stranger that she met on a forum has all the makings of new movie starring Liam Neeson. Doesn't end well.
