26X RIGGING

Folks,
I just bought a 97'' Macrgegor 26X used. All the parts are ther I''m just not sure how it all goes together. Would the video from Macgregor show me this stuff? It also has a mast raising system but there''s no winch, it has something attached to the pole that looks like a vang? Any help would be greatly appreciated... Thanks...

The video won''t really show you enough close-ups to help with rigging. The video is on-line on a few web sites though. Search around and give it a look.

SailNet offers a Mac discussion mailing list. That would be a good start.

There are also a lot of Mac26 info and links at http://www.macgregor26x.com/ that you''ll find helpful. I think you will find that there are -lots- of Mac owners on the net anxious to help out.
