Re: Free Sailing Lesson

These are the best times, sailing with the family!

Hope you don't mind; I took the liberty of fixing your image:

Congratulations! Flying Scots are great boats and fun for a family or racing. Renting at Belle Haven is pretty inexpensive too, so make sure you get plenty of practice time after your formal lessons are over.

Re: Free Sailing Lesson

Fine looking lads! And the right age. I started when my youngest boy was 16. He doesn't sail much with us and our oldest has only come once in 5 years. Spend every minute you can on the water with them and heel until they scream. They're boys. It must be life threatening with a sparkle of dismemberment to keep interest. I mean it doesn't NEED to be, they just need to think it! Other than that, have a great time sailing.

I agree with you, my boys like living on the edge. I let them because i believe that God protects the babies and the fools, so no matter which category they fall under, they are protected. My oldest was nervous at first, My youngest is fearless.

But they both loved it.

Re: Free Sailing Lesson

fearless or nervous it does not matter much, being out on the water is just fun. Nice looking family.

Nice...I sailed there years ago with the Sailing Club of Washington at the marina near Reagan National Airport.
