Cool Looking to rent

Hi all, I am a retired aerospace engineer and have lived on and off on Sailboats for the past 30 years. I live in Las Vegas and plan to move to the Tampa bay area. I would love to find a 27 to 30 ft sailboat to rent in a live aboard slip anywhere close to Tampa, FL. I am on a fixed income so the $$ is important. Please call my cell 702 339-3527. Looking to hear from someone!!!

Should not be too hard to find something like that to buy. Lots of boats here (especially just as live a boards) for sale. Depends on how long you plan to stay. Check out Cragslist Tampa Bay, Sarasota, and even Ft. Myers. Plenty to choose from. Good luck! You should like it here. Lots to do and plenty of good places on the water.

Re: Looking to rent

I think you are better off looking to buy. You can find 27 foot boats quite cheap, especially in FL. Remember your "rent" is going to have to cover the slip fee/mooring anyway, so why pay someone else to make money. Besides that I have seen several of these requests, but never one that they found someone. Kind of like renting an RV, ok for a week but any longer you are better off buying. The risk for the renter is too great, as you could just sail away.
