I''m planning a move to hawaii and would like to know what the current liveaboard situation is like in Hilo and Kona.

last time I was there was in 1991,sailed over from califungus and there were no slips but you could anchor in radio bay hilo or kealakekua.slips had a million year waiting list that cost money to get on in oahu.I f you buy a boat there you may be able to get a slip with it depending on whose ass you kiss.good luck.
