How is Florida looking now

Just curious as to how everyone weathered the storms and to see if life is starting back up again... Im sure lots of marina''s were heavily damaged from all of the hurricain''s, and wondering because I want to move down their within a year.

thanks

Greetings from the great northwest of Florida (aka the Panhandle). We came through the recent storms very well. Prior to them, we bought a "new" boat and moved her from St. Marks to Carrabelle to have some engine work done. That area came through with flying colors. The weekend before last, we finished the trip home in two days to Mexico Beach. What a fantastic ride. As you get closer to the Mobile/Pensacola area, more damage occurred. I understand there were quite a few boats destroyed along with their marinas. But for us, we are open for business. Come on down!

its cleaned up somewhat.I just cruised 80 miles from the ruins of pahokee to my new slip in boynton beach.there are wrecked boats all over the place.I may have hit one submerged,Im not sure.I felt something fall inside or outside but could see nothing.Even the largest of vessels were sunk or destoyed.
Not only boats but docks and other structures were damaged.I saw draw brigdes being repaired too. Also even though I stayed in the channel the whole time I ran aground once in Palm Bay.that place had few channel markers and there must have been a place where sand accumulated.things seemed to be getting back in order but there will always be that stigma here
