I have a blown Perkins 4-108. Six months ago I put about $ 800 into it. I''m in Daytona Fl. Sure would like to get something out of it.. I''ve had it long enough to know how much parts are for these engines. firemanbob

I have a dream. That and your blown Perkins will get us something to talk about but not much else. I''ve been in yacht service for many years and engines like yours just don''t find takers. You might do better by seperating the good parts, tossing the junk, and see what you can do on E-Bay. Unfortunately, I think you''ll do well to clear $100. It''s sad, but it''s probably true. Of course, just like in the lottery, it''s POSSIBLE someone might want it, but it''s also possible we evolved from frogs, and the odds of that are about the same as the lottery. (Ooops. Gotta go. I need a ticket.)
