Living Aboard LA Southbay

I am working in the S0uthbay of LA. (Redondo Beach) for the Govt. I am exploring the thought of buying or finding a boat for a live aboard arrangement, Monday thru Friday.

I do not have any idea what the reqts are, if anyone with a boat would want a mechanically inclined person to tend M-F and leave it spotless.

Any thoughts, ideas suggestions, referrals, or tings to be aware of would be greatly appreciated!!

Perhaps...

Bonjour! I will be moving to a live aboard in July and this may or may not be a good fit... but, I will be needing some help with maintenance and would be willing to have an extra person on board from time to time. Describe yourself, por favor. And, exactly what do you have in mind?

As for me: a lovely lady pirate, riding the high seas of corporate America, looking for booty, adventure and fresh fish, of course! My port o' call is Marina Del Rey, and I have a 36' "yacht home" that I will call home.
