Live Aboard Marinas in California

Wondering if anyone can give me some suggestions on live-aboard marinas is California? Not picky on where, I'll take all considerations to heart.

I'm recently divorced and I have a Hunter 34 and 2 small dogs, so pet friendly would be a plus.

Thanks in advance!
Matt

You might try Island Yacht Marna in Wilmington. 310-830-1111. Moved there in November and I asked for live aboard status last month and got it. Other places I've tried were difficult to get in and required that you be at the marina before being granted live aboard. Other marinas in Long Beach have a pretty long waiting list.

Cheers

Long Beach is horrible

Not only is the wait long (three years for a 45' slip), but one still has to $80/yr. to stay on the waiting list...

sharkbait is an unknown quantity at this point
All marinas in cali are liveaboard if you're willing to pay La Mordida.
If not,I suggest Ensenada.
