Annoyed live aboard in Hawaii

Does anyone know why it's so hard to find a marina that is ok with dogs? We got lucky and found a live aboard slip on Oahu but they're telling us "No new dogs", but the other LB's that suck up to staff have new dogs! I've seen 3 new dogs in the marina since we moved in, and the security guys petting them! I don't want to be kicked out for having mine but this is unfair. Besides she'd rarely leave the boat if it was ok! Does anyone know of a place that is ok with dogs on Oahu and allows live aboards? I understand some dogs bark a lot or could scare other people but ours is a sweetheart, and has never bothered anyone! I'm pulling my hair out, any ideas???????

Sounds like a little puckering up is in order...

Hey if it works why not?

Try cats.... I am surprised anywhere on Oahu still allows live aboard. Things were pretty darn unfriendly when I was a liveaboard there 4 years ago. Does Keehi state still have liveaboards on the moorings?
