Best marina for liveaboard in St Maarten??

My wife, 10 yr ol' daughter, and myself are considering a position on St Maartens which will require a permanent relocation to the area. We would prefer to liveaboard full-time but I am not sure how realistic it would be. Does anyone know of a marina on either the Dutch or French side of St Maarten that would be suitable for a liveaboard family?

We stayed at the Simpson Bay Marina...which was first class. Not sure if permanent live-aboard is permitted there.
