DR F, Does that mean if we pretend to be ladies we can be as dirty as we want?

NO.

It's just that it appeared that only men were responding.

Well I'd certainly like to hear a woman's perspective.

All kidding and innuendo aside, unless you own a HUGE yacht where it becomes difficult to differentiate between land dwelling or sea dwelling, it takes a special kind of girl to consent, and actually enjoy coitus aboard a small vessel.

If the interior of your boat looks like Orca from the move "Jaws", you're probably not going to see a lot of action no matter how spacious your cabin is.

I find that a clean boat (a clean head!), a working stereo, clean linens and a few oil lamps go a long way towards creating a romantic environment. Flowers and Godiva in the v-berth? Bonus points. The sound of water, and the motion of the boat seem to do the rest.

And some Barry White and a kimono.

Alright Smack we're talking about acutally trying to get some action on a boat. Not trying out the moves you saw last night on How to Catch a Predator.

A very special girl indeed. Flexibility helps as well.

Don't discount what a high level of passion can overcome as far as surroundings. Keep working on it.

Are you implying that I should have held out for a huge yacht? Darn. My mother always told me that I never get it right.

I was OK with "clean." The rest is nice but not necessary. Flowers die and Godiva is a cliche but I'd appreciate the sentiment. Seriously, if I'm into you (universal you, not YOU - no offense) I don't care where it happens as long as it's private.

What I found hotter than flowers was when John offered to re-wire my boat when we first met. It told me that he shared my interest and that he wanted us to do something together. Although, I'm sure that didn't occur to him.

Also, small boat, car, woods. Meh. I'm interested in the other person, not the trappings.

In this woman's opinion.

DF-

I'm saying that many women look at a 30 foot sailboat the way that they'd look at a cramped RV- and say "no thanks". You're the "special" kind of woman I'm talking about, who doesn't let the surroundings dictate everything.

Yes, flowers die but the event was special enough that she pressed and preserved them.

Candy may seem cliche, but she likes it. Especially chocolate covered strawberries, fed by me.

You're right, these things weren't necessary but they enhanced the mood and made the event better.

MDbee-

I have a decent success rate. This was taken from experience, not the hypothetical.
