Arrow Looking for marina in Crystal Coast, NC

Hello everyone! I am planning to move aboard in the next 60 days and am searching information for liveaboard marinas in the Crystal Coast/Wilmington area of NC. I do know that the Sheraton in New Bern, NC allows liveaboards and they are very reasonable, but wondering if anyone knows of any others??? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Virtually no marinas will tell you they take liveaboards.
You have to wander the docks and FIND liveaboards...then bring your boat into the marina for a "month or two"...then ask ever so politely if they will let you stay now that you've proven to be a good citizen.

Just across the river from the Sheraton is the Bridgepointe Hotel & Marina. I know for a fact that they allow live aboards because my roomate is the sales manager of the Hotel part and gets all pissed off that they don't charge the liveaboards any extra. I can't remember the monthly charge but I remember it being dirt cheap for both the Sheraton and Bridge Pointe.

activecaptain.com is a way to find all/most of the facilities in an area. There is a liveaboard section in the Dockage tab that gives information about liveaboard capabilities if people have entered it.
