Hang my Hammock

In the past I have seen hammocks hung using two halyards... now I have furling on the jib, only have the spinnaker halyard free. Any suggestions on how to hang the free end on/near the jib?? A friend suggested lashing onto the furled jib... either to the eyelet on the sail or right around the furled sail itself. I'm not crazy about that idea as I don't want to damage the furling system.

Hey, Boondoggle. I have an ATN Tacker that I stopped using for my spinnaker. Now I use it for my hammock! Attached the spin halyard to the Tacker wrapped around the furled headsail and the end of the hammock onto the tacker. The other end of the hammock goes to the mast. Voila!

If no tacker, you can probably just use a line or webbing or something.

We have one of the chair type hammocks on board. it works great because of the single attachment point! Really comfortable too!

What your friend recommend works, but I add a chafe guard over the line so not to harm the furled sail.
