Norfolk to Bermuda to Caribbean

Making a decision on timing - believe a departure for Antigua/St. Martin from Norfolk would be best in late Oct thru early Nov. Any advice on this?

Mast sits 66' so the ICW is not an option - hence, Bermuda. Not really interested in sailing straight thru w/o at least one stop.

Secondly - does anyone have any chartering experience in either Antigua or St Martin? Trying to make a decision on the best place to put her and I've narrowed it down to those two. Leaning towards Antigua b/c of personal preference, but not sure...

The Caribe 1500 leaves annually from Norfork to Tortola on 11/1 or as soon as weather permits. You have your timing right.
I'd be looking more towards either the BVI's or the Grenadines for charter as those are the most popular destinations but there is also more competition.
