Baby Born Aboard!

Sorry if this was already posted elsewhere on the forum, but I wanted to share this news items and give a big YOU GO MAMA to this fellow boat mom who just birthed her second child aboard.
Baby girl born aboard boat - The Post and Courier

I would have done the same if my little booger wasn't transverse breech. I have another boat mama friend in SanFran who homebirthed on her catamaran last year as well!

I still think I would choose a hospital, but it's good to know that Mother Nature successfully does her thing even under (what are nowadays) unusual circumstances.

When a friend broke a bone they gave her pat on the back and said that it would heal in time, that there wasn't much they could do about it. That didn't stop them from giving her a giant bill though.

Hum, after watching 2 boys born via non voluntary C-section I don't think I could do that, of course I am a man so I could not do it anyway! So how would you go about getting a birth certificate?
