Sorry, my geography lobe just kicked in. I'm guessing Aruba is more like a 3 - 5-day sail. Still, a 3 week vacation at $1000 is better than a 1 week vacation at $3000.

You can get around very easily in the SBM & Miami area. We managed to get any part we needed, and get all over Miami to serve our needs for cruising. SBM has a small bus that does the loop for a quarter, and it crosses the paths of many buses going n.s.e. & w.

I am from the S.F Bay Area, and lived in S.F. for 15 years. That's what I call great public transportation. Unfortunately it's not my idea of a cruising area. My idea is living in a swimsuit, and being able to jump into the water most of the year. That just doesn't happen in S.F.. ........i2f
