Re: Bahama Live Aboard Marinas

Port Lucaya on the Grand Bahama has liveaboard slips with cable TV hook-ups. I'm not sure if that includes Internet but I'd be surprised if it did not. It's not a particularly bad place but I won't be returning - pretty busy and touristy; though if you are into that or don't mind it ...

Re: Bahama Live Aboard Marinas

I live in the Bahamas and i'm actually wanting to live on a houseboat. There are alot of marinas in Nassau you just have to call around and see what the monthly fees are. They usually charge by the foot. But like someone said, ,because it's a US registered boat you will be given a timeframe to stay( i think 6mnth) and a timeframe to leave and come back( i think a week). Bimini is nice and all the other islands also if you really want that 'true island' feel.
