Another option is Magothy River (Ferry Point Marina) and then grab the MARC train from Odenenton. Baltimore? and again the MARC train?
Annapolis is expensive in a marina, but there are a few places on Back Creek/Weems Creek, or up the Severn where private homes have a few slips that they rent out.
Deale is a good option but getting further away.
Are you a retired vet? Could look at Quantico marina?

Ferry Point is pretty much only good for a very few live-aboards - limited parking space and no water in the winter.
They have just finished re-doing the restaurant and the head/shower building.

The service manager lives there on her (IIRC) 26 footer. Nice folks all around.
