Re: Hard choices..

Oh snap so trade my cash for savings bonds? And they will be tax exepmt , wait for here in ohio or in whatever country I might flee to? Thanks for advice regardless, we arent married but I wouldnt mind paying child support if it actually went to the boy. I had actually tried to throw her out before but she gets mail here and I was told by cps that being the mommy state it is she would automaticlly get custody since not married and she legally takes her drugs, but selling the house will bypass my obligations of proper eviction on my end, I also dont think they will give custody to someone that has no asddress like im planning, in fact now thay I think about it might make it hard to get a passport also.

Re: Hard choices..

Hopefull, FULL STOP. Get professional advice. Talk to a family counselor and a lawyer. Until you do so ANY action on your part is insane.

"Any advice? I mean she steala from my wallet when I sleep,"
And you leave the wallet where you know she will pilfer it.

That's enabling her. That's co-dependency. If any of this is news to you let me add one more voice ot the choir: GET PROFESSIONAL HELP. This is not the place for it.

Whether you are in a boat or a motel doesn't matter, you need professional help to make some hard choices about the domestic problem first.

Re: Hard choices..

Seriously, man. You're "joking" about snatching your kids. You're talking about fleeing and asking about ways to get around the law. You need help. You need it now. You AIN'T gonna get the kind of help you need from a public internet forum!!!!!

I wish someone close to you could see this, so that they could realize how desperately you need an intervention.

Re: Hard choices..

Dang, talk about the textbook example of using "liveaboard" as another word for "escapism". The thing about running away from your problems is they always find a way to keep up. Get some help for you first. Worry about step 2 later.

Re: Hard choices..

I'm not sure I agree that methadone being legal (with a prescription, I presume) makes it a foregone conclusion that the kids must stay with their mother. Addiction is addiction and unhealthy is unhealthy.

Also, any boat you buy now is likely to add to your problems and will likely solve nothing. A boat will reduce your options while adding to your responsibilities.
