BoxedUp I'm convinced about the LI water. Good reminder. We use bottled water at home already for that reason. If I can get a water fill-up in CT, that should solve the problem, I think. (Although the chart for CT doesn't have usually have MTBE on it unless it's Total Organic Carbon or something.)

I'll bring 10 gallons of bottled water for drinking/cooking in between "good" water fillups.

When the CT fill-up is close to running out, I'll refill in CT or Block Island or maybe Cutty Hunk. Also possibly going to Nantucket. Anyone know how the water is in these places?

I buy diesel fuel to get water - sounds strange diesn't it?

We also have the 4 free nights at Brewers marinas. There are some in CT. If I space those trips out, that will get us through the summer.
